Summary
"NHL player kisses blond man at Center Ice" is what almost every gossip newspaper in the country is going to run. But sometimes, we forget that behind narratives lie people, people with a story, a name, and a future.
Kent sees Jack Zimmermann kissing Eric Bittle at Center Ice. He is happy for him, and he wonders if that's something he will also get to do one day, kissing the boy of his life at Center Ice... or maybe just at the mall. He is not asking for much.

Summary
Jeff, a recent transfer to Vegas to teach, is set up by a friend on a blind date. The only issue being that he half falls in love with someone who is decidedly not his blind date, which is only made clear when the actual blind date shows up. Kent, the pretend blind date, invites Jeff to the hockey game later that night if Jeff's actual blind date doesn't work out. It doesn't and so he ends up at the game only to be disappointed when Kent doesn't show up in the seat next to him. That is, until he realizes that Kent's one of the players. One of them who just scored a goal to be exact. Thus leading them to a series of hook ups and quickly deepening connection even as Kent's self imposed end date, due to reasons he won't quite delve into, for their relationship draws near.

He shakes his head. “Yo, what’s up?”
“New recruit!” the probie Kyle pipes up pointing to where the captain is.
Kent feels all the air get sucked out of his lungs. They’re not replacing Jack are they?
Scraps ribs him from the side. “New partner, eh?”
Kent feels himself nod dumbly. He doesn’t need a new partner though. He has one.

He hasn’t checked since that summer where he desperately checked it like a lifeline nearly every hour. Hoping beyond hope the a would come in and that he and Jack could begin their life together. Summary
When the Aces acquired Jeff in a trade, the GM's press release described him as "responsible."
It took Jeff awhile to realize the Aces had already planned to draft Parse, and the GM was stacking his roster with role models to make sure his first round pick didn't implode in Vegas before Parse matured enough to be trusted.
But Parse was sharp. He knew what people'd been saying about him since Juniors. Parse probably figured out why the GM signed Jeff long before they met.
The one where Swoops first met Parse and Scraps, where Parse is both a literal charmer and Has A Type, and Swoops begins the first of so, so many regrets about his life and his choices re: one Kent Parson only obviously not enough to actually like, change them.
Less regrets about Scraps though, so there's that?

Summary
2 figures stand at centre ice.
Figure A wears a red sweater. His hockey stick is balanced across his knees, gaze lowered. He is utterly still.
Figure B is clad in navy blue. He sets his stick on the ice in front of Figure A for a moment, before skating in a tight circle, rolling his shoulders gracefully, and returning his position in front of Figure A.
Figure A holds his stick a little tighter, placing it just above the ice. His face is tense, but patient. He is still, tensed like a spring pressed all the way into a coil, ready to be let go.
Figure B holds himself loosely, casually, and an easy grin flits over his face.
"Hey Zimms."
"Hey, Kenny."
Part One: The QMJHL days and a teenage love(?) story with a violent expiry date.
Part Two: After the draft- Zimms without Parse, Parse without Zimms
Part Three: Kent Parson Always Goes First- a reunion
I will note fluffiest/sexiest chapters for you suckers so you can skip to those parts if you aren't into reading allllll of it (I know you people).
