When they had all first found themselves here, his sense of smell had done some reconnaissance (against his will). Everyone's blood was surprisingly distinct, so much so that they could serve as something similar to fingerprints. But through the cloying sweetness of Mahiru and the subdued florals of Shidou, one particular scent stood out to Fuuta the most; a deep, full-bodied musk that reminds him of a fancy cologne paired with a rich whiskey. And who else could a scent like that belong to other than Kazui?
Just the passing thought of that scent significantly worsens Fuuta's aching. Maybe he could just sneak over to Kazui's cell and drink a little. If he's careful enough, Kazui would stay asleep and would be none the wiser to his antics. He can manage that— at least, he certainly hopes he can. He's entirely out of options otherwise.

They'd mastered the art of sneaking down the halls without making too much noise, slipping quietly past Amane's door even if everyone was still awake, and probably well aware by now that the two of them had something going on between them. He threw off their routine a little though as he slipped behind Kazui, throwing his hands up to cover his eyes as his hand settled on the doorknob. “Okayyy, get ready,” he teased, relishing a little more in Kazui's half-exasperated sigh than he should.
Shidou was exactly where he'd told him to be, sitting a bit awkwardly at the foot of Mikoto's bed just as John had been waiting on Kazui's. He only looked more ashamed of himself as John closed the door and removed his hands, Kazui's confusion seemingly throwing him for a loop. “Surprise! Pretty good, huh?”

Uncapping the pink she had chosen for her, Yuno reached her free palm out towards Mahiru, blissfully ignoring the redness in the other girl’s cheeks as she gave the brunette her dainty hand. Yuno wasted no time getting to painting, holding Mahiru steady as she masterfully coated her perfectly manicured nails in a thick coat of rosy polish. Tuning out the sound of Mu convincing Kotoko to get her nails painted as well, and the quiet noise of Amane turning over the pages of her book, Yuno hummed a short tune under her breath as she worked, blowing on the drying polish and gently placing Mahiru's hand back onto the table once done.
“Oh~ They’re so cute! Thank you, Yuno-chan!”

When Mu comes to her door with a pouch full of nail polish, Yuno can't help herself but to agree to paint the younger girl's nails. Somehow, it turns into an impromptu spa day with the four other girls present in Milgram's prison. Oh well, at least she gets hers painted as well at the end of things, so it wasn't a complete waste of the afternoon.
