A thin groan escaped them as they braced themself on their elbows. They cooled off rapidly, which made for a delightfully strange feeling, like a fire getting snuffed out. They rubbed at their eyes, which stung, and looked up at the sky again. When was the last time they had a good day outside? They almost didn’t want to look away from the sky. Clouds, actual clouds, fluffy white things and not twinkling stars shining upon a ground unprotected by an atmosphere, dotted the pale blue. They reluctantly tore their gaze away from the breathtaking view to examine the surroundings.
