The man in the mirror looked tired. There were bags underneath his eyes. His eyes looked almost lifeless and stubble littered his face from where he hadn't had the motivation to shave it. He was ugly. But the man looked relieved, almost like a wish he had had for a long time was finally coming true.

Summary
Vessel sometimes dreams of strange worlds, creatures beyond comprehension. Amusing things, things Sleep shows his First to comfort him, to distract him from the constant clawing inside, eating away at him, chasing him to self-destructive tendencies, reinforcing his belief that he is unlovable, that no one would want him, that he is to be alone with only Sleep’s small mercies granting him fleeting, sparse moments of respite from his perpetual loneliness.

Summary
This is just a collection space for all of my Sleep Token one-shots. Aspects of previous stories may be referenced in future works but overall each story will be able to stand on it's own.
This series will only contain stories around the vessels and vesselettes and won't have any vesselsXreader stories. Any vesselsXreader one-shots will either be stand alone stories or will be in the NSFW series as deemed necessary.
This series will not contain sexually explicit content so those who don't want it aren't at risk of coming across it as they read through the stories. NSFW content will be in a separate series for those that want it. However, difficult and possibly triggering topics may come up in some stories. Trigger warnings will be given at the top of each story as needed and the tags will reflect the topics discussed.

Summary
As Sleep Token gains popularity, new fans dive deep into the mysterious bands lore in an attempt to learn more about both the members and the god they serve. It's a perfect opportunity for another god to impersonate the ancient deity to grow their own following under deceit and lies. The vessels are tasked with uncovering which god is impersonating Sleep and put an end to the horrors they are putting their followers through in the name of showing their devotion.
But tracking down a god is no easy task. And convincing their new followers that they have been lied to proves harder then they expected. As word spreads of the false Sleep and what he put his followers through, fans begin to question if Sleep Token is actually a cult and they are faced with dealing with the threat of their own fans turning against them. The struggle to remain anonymous while doing their gods bidding becomes harder the further into his work they get as fanatics of the false god try to unveil who they are while their own devout fans search for their identities in the name of protecting them.

Thus, Others were created and converted, bled thin on the walls of sanity. These are the stories of the current generation of worshippers, Mistakes as whispered against the thorns of the past, and weaker than them. Yet, is that true?
Nothing lasts forever. Or so it would seem.

Fear races through III's body- he’s never seen Vessel this calm before. Even when he’s asleep the look of anguish follows him, how can it not? He’s in Sleep’s realm and their god is demanding.
Now though, there’s nothing. Vessel's face is entirely vacant of thoughts and emotions and it terrifies III.
