Summary
Metal Sonic and Sonic have been meeting late at night between their fights to spend some alone time together. But as things unravel and Sonic can’t stand being in a sort of relationship with someone also trying to kill him during the day, he ends things after Metal can’t commit to changing. In denial about the ‘break up’ and unable to bring himself to defy his coding, he sets out to try and accomplish two seemingly contrasting goals to both win him back and please his creator.
Destroy ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ and never hurt him again.
The best of both worlds should be possible, right? His path to do both leads Metal down a dark path where he becomes increasingly isolated and desperate for Sonic’s attention. Dead or alive, enemy or lover, Sonic was his. All his.
Or : Metal Sonic becomes a ‘yandere’ in the wrong sense of the word.
