Jack grins lopsidedly up at him. “I knew you’d agree,” Les comes trotting up, and with ease Jack lifts him up. “We’re goin’ swimmin’ tomorrow.”
Les laughs. “But Davey can’t swim.”
Jack’s eyes widen and he looks at David, clearly fighting back laughter. “You can’t swim?”
David shakes his head and he feels his face growing warm. “No.”
“Don’t worry Dave, I’ll teach you.” Jack offers, obviously finding the entire thing much more amusing than David does.
