Kirumi Tojo is an age regressor.
BUT, she has been doing so well! She hasn't regressed since the killing game started and she didn't regress at that time she really wanted to when Kokichi was being mean and irritating her. She was doing really well.
...For a while.
One day, everyone's just yelling and arguing and it brings Kirumi back to her...Not very nice parents. All she wants to do is slip, and so, she, uh, she accidentally does. She starts crying in front of EVERYBODY.
How humiliating. Kirumi flees to the library where Shuichi finds her, and Shuichi comforts her for the rest of the day with Keebo along for the ride.

When he opened the door, Kaito expected to see a Kokichi who was a bit more vulnerable than usual, who would push past him and strut into the room like he owned the place, but mumble a barely audible “thank you” as he did so. He expected some absurd tale to explain why Kokichi couldn’t sleep in his own room, a disguise for the fact that loneliness brought his worst demons out to play. He expected playful insults and cuddling and tears the supreme leader would undoubtedly claim were fake.
What he got...was much, much worse.
(Or: Maki beats up Kokichi, and Kaito sets things straight.)
