Never one to be swayed by public displays of affection, Chris rolled his eyes at the endearment. “I wasn’t questioning that. I was making an observation.” He took a sip of his wine, and his fingers tightened almost imperceptibly around Santi’s hand. “And an offer, should you care to take it.”
