Summary
In the beginning days, when mortal feet were light upon the Earth, four deities were appointed dominion over land, sky, and sea. Created by the Sovereign before existence had form, they wandered freely and did as they pleased. Two matched pairs, bonded by unknowable power, struggling for dominance amidst the dawning era of humankind.
The Ocean's side story, part of the "Brave the Waters" universe.
Why does the Ocean have to eat people? How were sirens created? I've spent over a decade wondering, trying to find some kind of reasoning for the world Kiera Cass created. As I began to write my own version of The Siren—a Miraculous Ladybug fic called Brave the Waters—I knew I needed answers, if only for myself. I wanted to tell the Ocean's backstory as an epic myth and finally give Her the lore She's always deserved.
Read by Cynthia D. Witherspoon.

Summary
A while back, I started wondering: when did the Ocean start recruiting Sirens? This is just my theory. I also remembered that the ancient Greeks were pretty much the first people to have mythical creatures known as Sirens, so...yeah. That kind of inspired this story. I hope it isn't too sappy. :P

My name is Clarke Abigail Griffin, I am the daughter of Jacob Griffin and Abby Griffin, big sister to twins Aden Griffin and Madi Griffin. Their names are engraved into my mind, the memories that I have left of them are getting fewer and fewer.
Or
Clarke is a Siren who can’t talk to mortals until her servitude is over. She meets Lexa who shakes up goody two-shoe Clarke and makes her fall in love with herself again.
