He jerked suddenly under Ilse touch, a quick, messy movement while his lips elicited a feeble, keening sound. He let his mouth hang open then, breathing in sharp like he was trying not to whine. Reality finally hit him, and there. There. Suddenly, it was autumn. Suddenly, she was gone, and Hanschen for the first time in his life, crumbled- thick, salty tears pooling out from his eyes like the ocean itself was bleeding salt.

There was silence for a few moments, filled with Ernst smiling at the blanket he was mindlessly tugging at. Even with a sleep-dragged gaze, Hanschen could see his beloved’s eyes filling with fondness. “Hansi?” He finally said after grinning like an idiot at Hanschen’s lap. “If I kissed you…that wouldn’t be smart, right?”
“It would be idiotic and show how little self control or consideration you have for your own health. And I’m disgustingly sweaty, also bad judgement on your part if you kiss me.”

Moritz knew how Bobby's parties were. Big, loud, grossly smelling of hormonal teenagers itching to get it on. Moritz also knew how he'd end up staring down at his red solo cup in the corner of Bobby's kitchen, silently promising that this was the last time he would let Melchior slyly convince him to go to anymore dumb parties. After a few hours of desperately trying to not break down crying, he'd let Melchi drive him home. That's how it always went.
