Summary
He's been glaring holes into the back of your head for the entire evening. The entirety of your job felt more like babysitting rather than protecting the man from any actual threat.
" when I asked for a bodyguard I wasn't being serious.", bitterly muttering to himself. (Though it seems like he wanted you to hear him.)
You scoffed at that,
" Really now? Then what other services do you
want me to preform for you sir? Ya' know other than saving you from feral outmodes out to get you."
There was an obvious hint of mockery that he picked up on immediately. Not that you could see his baffled expression,
since you barely spared him any glances when the meeting was concluded. He seemed to go back to sneering at you and decided to respond to your comment with a snarky tone.-
