Here I was, sitting at the vanity in the dressing room, a fake eyelash grasped between my fingers. I was gently waving it in the air to get the glue to dry a little, but at some point I had gotten distracted, staring at Tiny Tim on the sofa behind me as he tuned the strings on his ukulele. His gaze, so focused, was on the instrument and not me. I was grateful for it so I could have this private moment; watching him, so focused and so beautiful. Pre-show primping was momentarily forgotten as I gazed upon him and my mind filled with all kinds of inappropriate thoughts.
