After Saurfang kills Sylvanas in front of the gates of Orgrimmar, a civil war between the people loyal to Sylvanas and those siding with Saurfang breaks out. The Alliance seizes the chance to invade Orgrimmar, uniting the two Horde fronts, with Saurfang as the new warchief against a common enemy, but too late. To secure peace, and to spare Orgrimmar, the new warchief's charge, Zekhan, is married to the High King of the Alliance.
