Finrod glanced at the cousin beside him, smiling when he caught Curufin looking back at him. It stayed like that for a while, until Finrod looked closer at said cousin. His stomach was gently rounded, the leather belt laid under his stomach, cradling it. It would not have been noticeable unless you peered at Curufin's stomach too long, but the sight of it made Finrod's throat dry up. He scooted closer, noticing that Curufin had watched him as he looked at him. His eyes were still shuttered, but he looked a bit curious too. Curufin's eyebrows were knitted, and he watched his every move.
