Alternatively titled “You Look Lonely”
“Why do you want to take me with you?” Scarab opens his eyes again and realizes he doesn't know when he closed them, that’s not good.
“I don't really know,” Prismo smiles at him, “there’s something about you, I can’t really put my finger on it. There's like this weird draw.”
Scarab hates that he knows exactly what the other replicant is talking about. There’s something magnetic about Prismo, but he chalks it up to the hunt; he’s so close to his target and yet so far.
Scarab is a Blade Runner, tasked with hunting down rouge replicants. His newest mission tests both his patience and baseline status.(Do not have to know much about Blade Runner to enjoy!)

Scarab's life, though horribly humiliating at times, has become painfully mundane above all else. Days run together. Time either stands still or moves so quickly he cannot keep track. And perhaps worst of all? Prismo is an absolute pig for him to keep running around after, like Sisyphus and that Boulder. It's not uncommon for him to think about the end of his punishment, and the things he'll do, say...but he's never going to get there like this.
Until Prismo says a 'work friend' is coming over. Scarab is sure he doesn't know the meaning of the word. There are lists upon lists of people and faces that dance through his mind, all that he would loathe to have see him like this...but the chances of his social circles and Prismo's overlapping are impossibly small, aren't they? Surely.
That is until his former spouse enters the time cube.
