“I–yes?”” says Rictor. It isn’t that unusual to get recognized–after all, he spent years as part of a high-profile detective agency and there aren’t that many mutant club owners in the city–but he doesn’t see what that has to do with respecting the Shakedown’s closing hours.
“We’ve met before,” the guy says. “I was a lot shorter, though. And I had goggles.” He cups his hands in circles around his eyes, then drops them.
Or: When Rictor runs into Tommy Shepherd one evening, he's ready to help out a fellow mutant. But maybe, this time, Rictor's the one who needs some advice.
