Rojer’s dad, meanwhile, seemed to think Blake had hung the moon – crooked, in the wrong spot, and using a dangerous ladder. He was obviously going to need Avon's help to set it right. Blake seemed to think Avon's advice was irritating, restrictive, and absolutely necessary before he could make any major decision. Rojer wished he had a running count as to how many of their sentences to him began with some variant of 'your father thinks'.

Summary
The Federation has taken an interest in a backwater planet which they have named Garron. They have sent a scout ship there to investigate whether it has any resources worth exploiting. Blake believes there is evidence that the planet may be already inhabited, so he follows the scout ship, planning to have Orac interfere with its computer in order to convince it that there is nothing there of any interest.
When they arrive, they discover that not only is the planet indeed inhabited, but a very unusual ceremony has just taken place near the area where the scout ship landed. And that leaves the crew with a whole new set of problems...
