Sakazuki was born in a normal family, in an ordinary island in the North Blue, in a painfully common village.
He intellectually knew of Pirates and Marines. Evil and good, dark and light. With the pure, uncomplicated lenses most children viewed the world, glasses of misdirection and filtering that their parents put over their eyes to keep the cruelty of life at bay for at least a few years more, a few months, a few days.
The thing about lenses is that they are made of glass, delicate and easily shattered.Sakazuki through the decades: a child that thought nothing in particular of the world; a Marine learning about the seas; a commander faced with difficult decisions; and an Admiral with unflinching strenght, but not an unfeeling heart (in spite of what he might think).

¿Qué es la justicia?
No había querido renacer, aunque tampoco era que quisiera morir otra vez. Sólo quería una vida tranquila en un mundo no tranquilo ni normal como One Piece. De todos los animes, tenía que ser justo uno como ese. No podía ser uno de institutos normales o flipados de algún deporte.
Pero esa pregunta cambió todo. Porque a veces responder a una pregunta puede ser tan importante que puede llegar a retumbar el mundo, a veces te da un sueño. Y porque a veces, aunque ya lo sepas en teoría, no era lo mismo verlo en persona.
Gol D. Roger dio fin y comienzo a una nueva era con sólo unas palabras, respondiendo a una sola pregunta.
Ese escalofrío que recorre tu cuerpo cuando presencias algo así es inolvidable. Te dice que todo va a cambiar. Y puede que también te diga que tú también cambiarás.
Y un sueño es un gran cambio. Porque, ¿qué es la justicia? Especialmente en un mundo como ese.
