Following the events of season 4, the party settles back in Hawkins and tries to resume life as normal as one can in a post-apocalyptic town.
Mike can't seem to figure out why El's being distant towards him, and why it's so hard for him to say he loves her.
Will can't seem to figure out how he's suddenly become Mike's relationship therapist, and why Mike has suddenly become so clingy towards him.
A hopefully semi-realistic drama, coming of age, discovering sexuality/dealing with internalized homophobia story. Featuring very oblivious, Jealous Mike, a very confused Will, and one night that changes everything.

Summary

Summary
In a society where the Alpha-Omega social hierarchy is the norm, and conservative power imbalances are deeply ingrained, two new students arrive in Hawkins. Will Byers, an omega, immediately catches the attention of Mike Wheeler, an Alpha who has never felt the need to claim any omega before.
However, when a dangerous situation arises, Mike must make a difficult decision to ensure Will's safety. Even if it results in permanent hatred between them.
OR, Will is the new omega student and Mike decides to claim him.

"He was overly pale and covered all over with grime and injury, but still clearly beautiful beneath it all. His full dark hair, wild and loose, was obscuring most of his face, but Will could almost make out the strong nose and elegant angles hiding underneath.
When Will came to stand in front of him, he’d at first been as insensible as the rest of the prisoners, then hearing Will start to turn away on his heel, his chin had raised.
At the sight Will let out a soft gasp. Because the firm gaze of the Hearthian captive was as bright and fervent as any soldier in the heat of battle, nothing at all like his cellmates who’d all slowly acquiesced to the hopeless atmosphere of despair.
And seeing this, naturally Will fled."

Will is an omega prince in the kingdom of Coryzar, recently betrothed to a beta Kilthian prince in order to win them as allies in their bloody feud against the rival kingdom of Hearthia. But what will happen when Will is asked to take a heat alpha, and that heat alpha turns out to be a captured Hearthian knight?
