"Learn to love, 'cause you've got love to give."
Senior year, the best year of Travis Phelps' life, he just didn't know it yet, nor how he'd be considered dead in the eyes of Nockfell.
He also would've laughed at you, if you'd told him that he couldn't care less about it because of Sal.Small edits:

Summary
His skin, his touch, his looks, even the way his voice came from his rough and ridged mouth. It was all rough. Every child, teenager, and adult, he scanned looked away, telling him he was scary or fierce. Except for one teen. When he looked at him he wasn't intimated. He was intrigued. Travis had to figure him out, and quickly.

Summary
Being an artist is hard- this was something Travis Phelps had learned from a very young age. After a near-fatal suicide attempt, Travis finds himself sent to a Catholic School for Adolescent Boys during his early sophomore year. Time doesn’t seem to stop, and as his Junior year unfolds, Travis has to begin thinking about his plans for his life beyond the walls of this dumb school. Adding to his challenges, Travis is wrestling with a mix of new and complicated emotions when he gets a strange new roommate with a prosthetic face, bright blue hair, and a guitar, who makes it his life's mission to get Travis over his chronic art block.
NOTES:
The cult is referenced; however, it is not the main focus nor a major plot point.
