Summary
It wasn't until they stepped into the sun that Jay started screaming.
Or
Jay is left a distraught vampire after the events of Noctis. Gillion, in typical Tidestrider fashion, lets her bite him about it.

Summary
It made sense, tragically so, that if the sky is starless then so should be the earth. That if the heavens are destroyed, its inhabitants driven into this world for refuge only to take and take, then so should the only remaining star in human form be destroyed. A beacon of the night sky, one that shone and burned so brightly not of his own permission, whittled away to nothing.
It was not Peter's fault. It could never be. It is Rumi who saw all the signs, who became convinced to distrust the line between dreams and visions as if they cannot be interchangable to those determined enough. It is Thanatos who obliged and indulged that angel and encouraged its actions as if they did not lay out the consequences every time it broke forth.
Perhaps they are both to blame.

Summary
“Caspian?”
“Yes, Gillion?”
“You’re not quite like me, are you?” Gillion’s voice is hushed. He isn't sure if he wants to hear the answer.
______________
Gillion and Caspian are similar in some ways, and in others... not so much. They make it work, and Gillion works through a bit of his past in the process.

Summary
Gillion was growing restless.
Chip had said about a week ago that he was finally going to start training Ollie, claiming that now that their adventures were growing more and more dangerous, the small half-elven boy needed a way to properly protect himself if one of the crew was not around to help, and while Gillion does understand, he really does! He just can't help that sinking feeling that someone Ollie's age doesn't need to go through all that training entails!
aka
4 + 1 times gillion (thought he) saved Ollie and one time he realised he didn't need to

Summary
The dopplegänger slams into the door again, and again, thud, thud, thud, thud, and then-
Gillion’s face comes into view in the small window in the door. It doesn’t look smug, or angry. It looks worried, and a little confused. Like it was innocently concerned about a small misunderstanding.
“Chip,” and God, it sounds just like him, “could you open the door?”
Or; Chip locks himself in a fortified room, and Dopple-Gillion tries to convince him to open the door.
