Summary
We walked into the field and watched as El picked a dead flower. It was the same kind that Mike gave her when he first got to California.
The scene in front of us almost seemed unreal. It was frightening and yet somehow beautiful. It looked like a painting, with a strong red streaking the sky and the gray mist swirling around buildings. Nancy and Jonathan were together and so were Mom and Hopper, so I couldn't help but notice that Mike and I were also standing next to each other.
Strange.
I didn't think of it as anything at first, but I guess it would've made more sense given the following events.
