Summary
Uzumaki Naruto has gone missing, and Master Iruka seems to be the only teacher in the entire magic academy who cares to find him. Despite being fairly useless in a fight, Iruka gathers his spellbook, his crystals, and his staff, setting off to retrieve the lost boy. Along his way, he encounters Hatake Kakashi, bearer of the cursed eye and an esteemed warcaster (he's also a bit of an asshole). Together, they learn the real reason why Naruto has disappeared.
Now Iruka just has to survive long enough to be reunited with Kakashi and the boy he's come to think of as his own.

“Yes? I thought you knew?” Hashirama tilted his head, looking over to Tobirama who shrugged slightly.
“No, it seems like some of our intel was a bit outdated,” Madara sighed, pinching his brow. “Does this change anything else in the peace treaty? Any other culturally insensitive terms that need to be removed?”
Madara narrowed his eyes as Tobirama coughed, hiding his face for a moment. Did he just cover up a laugh?

"Madara," Tobirama looks down at his feet, palms resting on the Uchiha's shoulders, voice as soft as the whisper of the curtains being stirred on the breeze, "I've always wanted children."
Madara's throat aches like he's taken a too-large bite of something too sweet. He spares his left hand to cup Tobirama's elbow, stroking the soft, inner skin with his thumb, following the opaque blue pattern of a vein. "I know."
"I would bear yours happily."
"Of course you would."
__Madara and Tobirama, a bonded pair between the strongest clans in Fire Country if not the nations, want to try for children. It's not the easiest process.
