Summary
Louis drags Mike into Harvey’s office and demands that Harvey paddle him long and hard, right on the spot. After making Mike confess to his transgressions, Harvey has to decide how to deal with him. Discussion of contractually consensual workplace corporal punishment of adults (legal within the AU but obviously not in real life). No slash.
AU: The use of corporal punishment (spanking, paddling, caning, etc.) on associates at law firms by their supervising partners is legal as long as they sign an employment contract allowing it (and don’t choose to resign instead of accepting punishment). All associates at Pearson Hardman and other major corporate firms in the U.S. are required to sign such contracts. Harvey negotiated different terms for Mike’s contract, specifying that only Harvey can punish him, but Jessica, as managing partner, can still fire Mike.

Mike just softly laughs, and even through the phone his heart still soars, he never thought someone could have such an effect on him. It makes sense doesn’t it, Harvey takes care of him, likes it even. In all the ways that matter, he chose him and Mike stayed.
