They both know this is a bit at this point: Azul practically lives for the theatrical, and Idia’s willing to indulge him—he's softened up, too. “But perhaps I could be persuaded. What’s on offer in exchange?”
Idia crosses his arms and matches Azul’s earlier grin with his own sharp teeth. “Half the contents of the jar and a marathon of the three most mind-bending sci-fi classics you’ll ever see.”
“You’re awfully brazen, to pitch me such an unfair deal. You want me to ditch work to open a pint of ice cream and watch old robot movies with you.”

He needed to fix it. Louder and louder the whispers shouted, telling him to pick the shards up one by one and put them back together. Erase his sins, cleanse himself- rid himself of the filth staining his hands, the many sins of the night stacking up against each other.
Fix it- He had to fix it-
“Sunday?” Mr. Yang’s voice rung out like a shout in the darkness, though he knew it was, in actuality, barely above a whisper. More words followed, but they were drowned out by the ringing in Sunday’s ears as he startled violently.
Sunday has a rough time, the voices of perfection echoing oh-so-loudly in his mind until he breaks under the pressure. Welt catches him when he falls, and slowly, Sunday learns that it's alright to fall apart sometimes.
