Hyunjin pitied him, at first. Once he’d interacted with the boy enough to grasp his persona and connect the name to the face, he felt sorry. A sadness for the inevitable life Jeongin would go on to live, the very same Hyunjin has seen his father experience, that his father witnessed his own father live, and so forth.
