Morale was way too low. For very justifiable reasons; they’d rationed plenty of noodles, but cake was missing. And, well, so was Lloyd.
Kai’s heart was paces ahead of his mind, whirling forward in a tornado of pumping blood while his brain could only stand there, unable to do anything let alone initiate some sort of attempt to calm himself. Kai was far away from calm, actually, tranquility being a very unknown concept right now, fire raging chaotically inside of him.

It was fear, Sasuke suddenly realised. It wasn’t anger that was eating away at him this time, but instead it was absolute terror.
Or Sasuke gets kidnapped by people his brother pissed off and consequently ends up on the receiving side of their revenge plan.
