Summary
He slowly blinks his eyes open. Johnny thinks he’s still dreaming. That must be it. He “woke up” miniature and now he sees a pair of sparkly eyes looking at him. The eyes belong to a boy, small like himself but shorter. He holds a big leaf as an umbrella. Well big to them, at least.
But then he sees them. Wings. Translucent and glittery, a pair of wings coming from the back of the boy in front of him.
Okay, if he’s not dreaming maybe he’s having a hallucination?
"Huh, I didn't know it rained in heaven. Doesn't seem like an angel thing."
The winged boy snorts. “We’re both a bit too small to be angels, don’t you think?”
“I’m six feet tall…” John mutters to himself but is heard by the other.
“Sure you are, mud pie. And I’m an international pop star.”
