Lady Trevelyan wasn’t at the Conclave when it was destroyed. Instead, she was on the frontlines of the mage rebellion, fighting in Redcliffe after escaping the oppressive Circle in Kirkwall.
But now, whispers have spread of a young elf leading the Inquisition, and the mages are being called to join the cause. For Lady Trevelyan, this means an unavoidable reunion with the one man she vowed to never face again: Sir Cullen Rutherford, the Templar who broke her heart and ignited her rage.(Instead of being the inquisitor, a female Trevelyan plays a smaller role that brings her close to Cullen, while Lavellan leads the charge. For all of those that prefer a Solavellan as the canon world state for that needed angst, but also hold a soft spot for Cullen. Basically lets have our cake and eat it too.)

Until someone leaves a baby on his door step, and in a fit of desperation he turns to his extremely alluring (and annoying) neighbour for help.Lavellan doesn't know the first thing about babies. She can barely take care of herself, let alone someone else. And has firmly rescind herself to a life of spinsterhood.
Until her extremely handsome neighbour is pushing a baby into her arms, and her daydreams are suddenly taken over by tiny shoes and kissing Rutherford.(Modern AU. Will change the rating and add more tags as chapters go.)
