Summary
Then, those eyes crinkle up with the perfect smile, the one Suga sees on Daichi’s face only sometimes, and Daichi adds, “I like when it’s just us.”
Suga can feel it on his face that he’s grinning back, and when he sits up, too, his head spins for a moment. He places a hand on Daichi’s knee to steady himself. His lip quirks when he notes, just shy of teasingly, “It’s usually just us, Daichi.”
The thing about falling in love with your best friend is that it happens so slow.

Summary
They’re in rehearsal before their last two concerts in Kobe when it happens. It’s just one bad landing, his foot slipping where the stage is dented slightly in one place. No one else notices at first, but Seonghwa feels more than hears the sickening pop in his knee.
The pain that erupts through his body makes dark spots appear, dancing, in his field of vision. He looks around, but no one is there to catch him, so he stays upright, tears springing to his eyes.
Seonghwa and the difficult art of letting yourself be taken care of.

Then he meets Seonghwa. Pink-haired. Ridiculously photogenic. A real lifeguard with an unreal smile.
It was supposed to be just a side job. But Seonghwa might be the story Hongjoong’s been chasing all along—if the truth doesn’t sink him first.

Summary
"You're too competitive for your own good." The setter sighs as he adjusts his hold on Hongjoong, his hand slipping lower around his waist to be able to hold him better.
"Says you." Hongjoong laughs at that, they both were too competitive, always had been.
Hongjoong has always seen Seonghwa as his biggest rival, but now that they're on the same team, does that rivalry still exist? Did it ever really exist?

Summary
It’s the most they’ve been around each other since they moved out of their old dorms, and Seonghwa finds himself thrown out of his equilibrium every once in a while. He thought that years of sharing a room with Hongjoong had inoculated him against the mesmerizing power of Hongjoong’s presence. But this whole process has only served to remind Seonghwa how impossible it is for anyone to take their eyes off Hongjoong, how inevitable that one would be affected by his gravitational pull.
Seonghwa’s name might hide a star within its strokes, but in truth, he’s been orbiting around Hongjoong for the longest time.
Seonghwa and Hongjoong hook up the night they finish recording MATZ. They don't talk about it.

“Besides,” he says, slowly dragging his claw down, down, down to just below Seonghwa’s navel. “Werewolf blood tastes like clear skies and moonlight.”
Seonghwa swallows as subtly as he can, holding his wine close to him. “Do you talk to many other vampires?”
“Are you jealous?” Hongjoong teases, pressing his claw in more.

Seonghwa is a vampire who had pretty much given up on the idea of friendship. Other vampires aren't good company and no one else lives long enough to stick around. And then Hongjoong, a scrappy werewolf with too much time on his hands and a desire to get under Seonghwa's skin, pushes his way into the vampire's routine.
Right as Seonghwa is getting comfortable, Hongjoong has the bright idea that Seonghwa should bite him and fuck up their entire dynamic. Lovely!

Summary
Who has Seonghwa been sleeping with that he’s so good at giving head? It shouldn’t matter, because Seonghwa and Hongjoong are not—they’re friends and the most important people in each other’s lives, but other than that, they’re nothing. Not like that. Hongjoong has been keeping a tight lid on it since pre-debut to make sure it stays that way. It’s fine.
While Hongjoong and Wooyoung are in Europe, San and Seonghwa make a sex tape. It is not meant for Hongjoong's eyes.

Summary
If he’d wanted to, Seonghwa could have gotten himself out of this situation years ago by pretending to be obtuse. He could’ve ignored the unspoken words, the silent questions, the lingering, and his friendship with Hongjoong would have remained untainted by possibility. He wouldn’t even have given himself the chance to imagine.
But he notices things, and he remembers, and he continues to have hope despite all the evidence stacked against him. It’s kind of fucked up.

Summary
In a world in which humans and vampires live side by side, Seonghwa is a struggling human desperate for a steady income and a roof over his head. He applies to be a personal feeder for a vampire, to serve as a constant supply of blood and nothing more. However, he does not anticipate being assigned to the head of the most powerful coven in the area, Kim Hongjoong.
Seonghwa has never had a home, but he begins to find one in the least likely of places, discovering that Hongjoong and the vampires within his coven are kinder than most of the humans he’s encountered in his life. But humans look down on feeders, and Seonghwa catches the eye of many vampires as he becomes a permanent fixture at Hongjoong’s side.
He isn’t safe from anyone, humans or vampires alike, and when disaster strikes he finds himself more entangled with Hongjoong and his coven than he had ever expected.

Seonghwa likes kisses. Hongjoong doesn't like kisses. But Hongjoong likes Seonghwa and perhaps he can go against his own nature to put a smile on his (definitely-not-just) friend's face.
Or;
5 times Hongjoong kisses Seonghwa briefly out of his own will, and 1 time Seonghwa kisses Hongjoong like he means it (because he does).

“Oh no! Nothing like that. Just be obnoxious!”
“Should I be upset that Wooyoung suggested me for this?”
“Well, it was actually Yeosang’s idea to ask you…”
“Even worse.”

Seonghwa will be asleep in his dorm, in his small bedroom, and down the hall from him Mingi will be passed out in loose exhaustion, and Wooyoung and San will be sleeping, too, the way they do, turned towards each other like facing pages in a book. Summary
Hongjoong huffs and pushes a hand through his hair, the blue strands falling before his eyes for a moment and correcting the faded wrongness of the sky. “Last I checked, you don’t control where we go or don’t go.” The metal arm of the Cromer is still warm in his grasp, excited from the trip they just took. If he squeezes hard enough, he can feel the vibrations of every single atom. He can make them vibrate faster, if he’d like. He can make them split.
“Listen to yourself,” Wooyoung scoffs, and then louder asks, “Do you hear him? He’s losing it. He thinks just because he has that fucking hourglass it means he’s higher than God.”
-
After landing in a quiet and off-putting dimension, Hongjoong and Wooyoung get into an argument. Feelings are hurt, secrets are spilled, and true colors are shown. The journey towards Utopia is a lot more draining than the boys thought it would be.
