Summary
The Yellow Kingdom is a land of puzzles and riddles.
Avery Mahon is a foreign prince who cannot help but wear his heart on his sleeve.
He was sent to the Yellow Kingdom to become a knight, skilled in combat, but he cannot be what people want him to be. Too kind for his own good.
When he finds a strange tunnel on his way back to the palace, he thinks it's nothing. When he finds a book with a warning, he thinks it's a joke.
Tangled in a web he cannot understand, he knows one goal: find the book's author, and make sure they're okay.
<--->
Ser Derek Hutchins is a knight, bound by oaths, duty, and virtue.
He was sent to the capital for further training, admired for his ability to see every flaw, but he always ended up alone. Too smart for his own good.
When his orders require him to go back on his duty and his virtue, he turns his back on the King he swore to serve.
He does not understand why the world is changing, all he understands is that it is.

Summary
Avery had known Derek since they were kids. That didn't mean that he knew how to word this.
He's known he loved Derek as more than a friend since they were little twerps without any such worries they now do going through college. He's loved Derek since long before he had a word for it.
So he also knows that most ways he could try to verbally express this will end in Derek assuming that it's too good to be true and that he's doing everything out of pity.
So instead of saying it outright, the solution has to be taking him on a few dates, Derek isn't that clueless, right?

Summary
When the movie 'Searching For a World That Doesn't Exist' was announced, it took the Internet by storm. A new release by the elusive director Wifies — even with no plot or confirmed casting, the mention of his name alone was enough to create a buzz.
Well, not like it had anything to do with Avery. As a semi-rookie actor, it wasn't like he would ever get the chance to work with a director as famous as him in his lifetime.
So.. this email HAS to be a scam right?
And just why was his celebrity crush watching his audition???
Or: The actor AU we all needed.

Summary
Derek is a free-lance programmer living on his own (if you exclude his cat, Romulus) in a small apartment, as well as a frequent customer at 'the Beanstalk', a coffee shop where his most prominent annoyance, Avery, works as a barista, and doesn't seem to know how to stop bothering him. Enter Hastur, Derek's estranged brother who attempts reconciliation through matchmaking, and chaos ensues.
