Summary
Everyone loved to wax poetic about the so-called power and prowess of Alphas, but Alastor knew who truly held dominion over all. With the number of Alphas vastly outweighing that of Omegas, it was almost too easy. Especially with his heat so near. All he had to do was mark himself as available in the Alphas Seeking Omegas app, bat his eyes and stroke their egos (among other things), and they were falling over themselves to curry his favor.
How else could he afford such a nice apartment so close to his university otherwise!
All he had to do was let his instincts wash over him, and then he could just lie back and come out of his heat with a pleasant, lingering ache between his thighs. In addition to a few absurdly expensive courting gifts (most of which he sold) and a spike in his bank account balance.

Summary
When Rosie suggests that what is happening to him might be the beginning of his presentation, Alastor wants to laugh in her face and then proceed to destroy half of the city.
It seems that being a Beta was not written in the stars for him, after all, much to his overall disappointment.
When he thinks that it couldn’t be worse, the sudden appearance of Lucifer Morningstar proves him wrong very quickly, turning disappointment into a disaster and setting into motion a chain of events that has the potential to change both of their lives forever without any hope for ever turning back to how it was before.
In the end no one is able to resist the temptation hidden within when the primal instincts take over.

Alastor swung his bare legs off the bed, his hooves clicking against the wooden floor. He didn’t stand, unsure if his trembling legs would take his weight just yet. But he had to go. Had to get away.
Smooth fingers ran down his spine, goosebumps causing his soft fur to stand on end—even his tail fluffed up from the ticklish yet pleasant feeling, begging to flick happily.
Fuck.
He needed to leave.
“Stay the night? Just until your morning broadcast?” Lucifer’s question was expected, his words tinged with hope and desire.
Alastor swallowed back his hesitation and forced a sly grin as he scanned the room for his discarded clothing. “Again? Quite insatiable, aren’t you, sire?”

Summary
“Rut,” Alastor said blandly.
“Rut,” the Devil repeated, ruffling his own hair, “It’s a parting gift from dear old dad. This…it’s a whole thing. Lilith and I were both cursed when we fell…if we were going to behave like lowly beasts, then we would be shackled by nature as they were. It’s not fun. I get sensitive to everything - sound, scent, light. That’s the first thing. Then I start getting territorial and aggressive. After that comes the…uh…violent sex drive. I mean violent. We’re talking broken bones and that was between me and Lilith. Ozzie’s got a safe room for me.”
Lucifer is cursed to go into rut and Alastor is determined to worship his personal god rather than let him flee to another Ring to ride it out. Some bloodletting and Angelic chains might be involved.
