Summary
It's been 2 years since the Helicarrier crash and Bucky has slowly been struggling to rebuild who he is. Living alone on the fringes in Bucharest is not without it's challenges but at least he is safe while he tries to piece back together his shattered memories. Until a slip up in a moment of panic brings Steve and Natasha into his far removed life. In hopes of restoring his broken mind, he returns with them to Stark Tower to begin the long road to recovery. The road is full of potholes and wrong turns but along the way he grows close with his new friends and as time goes on begins to fall head over heels for Steve.
An angst ridden story about Bucky Barnes recovery from Hydra's torture.

Summary
The hallway is empty. His boots are heavier than they should be, but his steps don’t make a sound. The carpet swallows every noise. Where are you going, princess?, asks the ghost. The rooms have no numbers. He reaches for a weapon that doesn't exist. The lights are always flickering here. It never stops. It never stops.
Or: Natasha Romanov finds out about a specialist who used to work for the Winter Soldier program as well as for the Red Room, so she returns to the place where she was raised and trained. Bucky comes along to assist in her search for possible traces of Hydra. And while Natasha slowly recognizes the connection in their past, Bucky mainly realizes how much he hates hotel rooms.

Summary
The Soldier knew protocol. A failed mission meant punishment, then the Chair, then cryo. He had to go collect punishment, to ensure proper function on the next mission. It would be a risk, going back to the Vault. Insight had been compromised, communication was down. The Soldier did not know if the Vault was safe. The head hurt. He had been out of cryo too long. The words of the Captain on the helicarrier had damaged the neurological function. He would need the Chair to return to working condition. The Chair was in the Vault.

Summary
Three years after the events of Shake The Frost, Steve organizes a cross country road trip to celebrate Bucky’s 100th birthday. Healing, happy, and now a member of the Avengers, Bucky considers taking the next step in their relationship. But when they return home to find Steve’s got a stalker obsessed with preserving the image of Captain America, they find themselves on a journey neither of them ever expected to take.
