The distinct change in the color of the walls, the dusty bookshelves which grandma Belle usually kept squeaky clean. But the thing that grabbed his attention the most was the calendar that hung on the wall, only confirming his suspicions. The magic felt different here, in a way that he knew would blow up in their faces if they didn’t figure out what it was and how to control it.
“Guys…we have a problem.” Liam waved them over to the calendar. Jaws dropped as they read the date at the top.
