"No one ever claimed ruling an entire kingdom alone would be easy!" "How do you think the people would feel, knowing who you really are?" "Arent you worried about marriage?"
Those quotes and many like them would get under your skin when you were younger. When your kingdom was younger. When you were both thrown into this chaotic world. But the ones who made such remarks were long gone, your kingdom still flourished, your people loved you despite the cures, and you still lived without a ring on that finger of yours. You had enemies, allies, and friends to rely on.
You never expected your life to be flipped within a year's time. Walls you put up crumbling around you, your chest burning, secrets stolen and shared, and yet you felt so calm. So warm.
Was this safe? Was this right? Why did everything feel so alien to you? You've done this countless amounts of times, yet you couldn't pinpoint what was so different about this one, about them. Were you so oblivious to the signs? Was this the pattern your right hand had mentioned, Affection? Love? Care? No! No one could ever love someone cursed; you weren't a princess trapped in a tower by a dragon. You were the dragon!
So why do you feel so hopeless around them?Bookmarked by A_Lazybunny

THIS FIC IS NO LONGER BEING UPDATED AS I AM GOING TO REWRITE IT UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME!!
Marriage was supposed to be a happy affair, something partners looked forward to and celebrated. There was a time you fantasized about it as a young child.
But after being free of your terrible family, after not seeing them since the age of 16, your parents decide to make the choice for you.
You are forced to marry, unable to bring yourself to speak, to bite, to scream at the injustice of it all.
A dog in a shock collar, fearing the shock if you don't perform the right tricks.
The Sun and The Moon glower at you from the altar.

Summary
"Who dares enter this place?"
The sound of it's voice, the beast's voice, filled your mind with dread. Your legs quaked, you felt your world come to a grinding stop. It was like you were frozen in time.
"I ask again, before I lose my patience...Who dares enter my home?"
You felt sick, you couldn't find your voice. And even if you could, would you answer? Of course not. How could you answer to...that thing. That horrid creature. Your breathing was so forced and heavy, that it made your chest ache. Everything began to spin, the sick feeling growing as you tremble. The footsteps begin once more, it grew closer...and closer...and closer until...
Darkness...
