“You should’ve seen the way you ran in here, man. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you move so fast.” His roommate takes a long pull of the joint dangling in his fingers. “You’re fuckin’ whipped, bro.”
Mike knows he looks stupid, unable to control the way his eyebrows furrow and his lips curl in complete confusion. Then his roommate rolls his eyes and makes a gesture like he’s cracking a whip, complete with sound effect. His cheeks heat up, the realization suddenly dawning on him.
He thinks Mike was on the phone to his girlfriend.
He thinks Mike has a girlfriend.
He thinks that Will is Mike’s girlfriend.
Everyone at college thinks Mike has a girlfriend. There's just one problem. The 'girlfriend' in question is Will Byers. Mike's best friend. Platonic with a capital P. He's so screwed.

Summary
Will is suddenly responding heavily, with louder moans and begins to slowly grind his hips into mike, not quite on purpose, most likely just reflexes, mike thinks. Yeah. Reflexes.
Turned on by how he acts and responds to his touch, he grinds as well. Neither of them really connect their movements. His neck just feels so good and his hands in his hair are causing Mike to feel things. Moaning softly against Wills neck. Moaning again. Their combined moans and soft breaths become heavy and sharp.
“Mike-”
“Yeah?-” Mike is panting, hard.
“Mike!”
Mike's eyes snap open. Will is shaking him roughly, the sun peeking through the curtains.
“Mike are you okay!??? Were you having a nightmare again?” Will asks, so very concerned for his best friend./// or, Mike is very sure Will doesn't like him like that. like 99% sure. Will loves to test the waters. Mike cannot for the life of him stop daydreaming about wills waist.

But now he’s the danger. Will’s at his mercy. What a cruel twist of fate it is, and Mike is the cruelest monster of them all.
Mike discovers a lot about himself in the scope of six months. Mainly, that he’s a terrible and selfish person.
