Summary
Mike has spent the last three years figuring out what on earth to do with his life. From painting like will to writing news articles like Nancy— nothing seemed to work. Until, eventually, he turned back to DnD, landing right back where he started. A storyteller.
He ends up applying for colleges to get a creative writing degree, and much to his surprise, he’s rejected from all but one. And the one he was accepted to?
Will’s college.
Mike tells himself it’s a big enough school and that they’ll never run into eachother. He won’t even have to think about what happened two years ago.
And then he meets his roommate, Will Byers.

He turned around.
“…Mike?”
Mike’s mouth dropped open for a split second, his hands going clammy.
“Will.”
Mike silently hid the scroll behind his back, putting on a smile. The silence hung thick in the air.
“Uh, are you my roommate?” The words scratch their way up Mike’s throat, his free hand pointing to the random guy that Will was with.
“Uh, no, it’s-“
“It’s me,” Will interrupts, raising a small hand before quickly putting it back to the bottom of the boxes.

Wade bounced on the balls of his feet, box in gloved hands. “I have a surprise for you two,” he announced, grinning with his whole mask, eyes crinkling as he presented the artifact—a small cube, black as old pitch, its surface crawling with ancient, indecipherable symbols that glimmered faintly red.
Peter’s voice was wary, stretched thin. “‘Pool, what is that—”
Johnny, ever the faster draw, stepped back, instincts sharp. “What the fuck?” He eyed the box like it was about to explode.
Wade’s voice pitched up, sugar-sweet. “Surprise!” And then, with the enthusiasm of a child hurling a water balloon, he lobbed the box straight at them.

Summary
A.R.G.U.S. sends Peacemaker and Vigilante to Metropolis for a “simple diplomatic collaboration” with the Justice Gang.
Translation: Amanda Waller wants them to pretend they’re professional, hide the fact that they’re dating, and not embarrass her in front of Superman, Batman, and the new roster of shiny competent heroes.
It goes badly immediately.
Superman is too nice, Batman hates them on sight, and Metropolis is being destabilized by alien tech that Peacemaker definitely should not be touching.
Vigilante accidentally impresses Batman.
Peacemaker gets jealous of literally everyone.
The Justice Gang witnesses the world’s most accidental double date.
When a dimensional rift tears open over the city, the four heroes are forced to work together — with varying success, a lot of yelling, and one moment of unexpected brilliance from Vigilante that even Batman has to respect.
Chaos, jealousy, teamwork, accidental domesticity, two couples figuring themselves out, and one exhausted Kryptonian trying not to hear Peacemaker and Vigilante having sex through the safehouse walls.Series
