Summary
He walks the halls of his mansion. The servants are stiff, nervous, uncomfortable. His staff tap tap taps on the floor. For a horrible moment, the familiarity of it all wraps itself around him and drags him down into a time when they weren’t his mansion or servants or staff.

A stream of consciousness character study into Ascended Astarion, based on my personal headcanons. A very bad-ending, horror focused, trapped in the cycle take on the character.

Summary
They’re headed to the orphanage. Wolfwood knows it’s a bad idea to bring Vash to the orphanage, but he’s run out of options. He can’t leave Vash behind to deal with Knives alone when he hasn’t even gotten used to his legs yet, and he can’t ignore the hostages he just gave up by saving him in the first place. They’re fucked in every way they can be. The world is ending, and they’re taking a break to rescue some kids who will be doomed if Vash can’t get back on his feet regardless.
-
An alteration to the timeline directly following the events of Volume 8, in which Vash has lost his legs on the Ark. Instead of heading out on his own, Wolfwood brings Vash along to make sure somebody is looking after him while he adjusts to his new prosthetic legs.

Summary
It’s instinctive, Wolfwood has always done it without even thinking about it, whenever the smaller kids needed someone to protect them. He doesn’t need to think about it, he already knows what’s needed of him here. Protecting Vash and protecting Meryl look different, and getting Meryl out of the way means he can do both at the same time.
(I would give a more detailed description but I don't want to spoil the end of the season for anyone who hasn't finished yet, so just extrapolate from the tags.)

Summary
Vash believes Wolfwood can be saved, and that’s the most tragic thing of all. Vash knows he’s a sinner, he somehow knows even the worst of it, but he still thinks he can reach down into the mud and drag him kicking and screaming back up into the light, as if a few tears were nearly enough water to wash all the blood from his skin.

Vash and Wolfwood have sex. It's pretty mindblowing.

Anders never expected Fenris to want him and, even once he had him, Anders didn't expect it to last. He expected it to end at any moment, to disappoint Fenris or disgust him. So he hid something from him, that he's trans, and almost ruined it anyway.

It started with a blade. A beautiful weapon made of the moon’s own silver—delicate yet powerful, unlike anything Runaan had wielded before. When he meets its creator, Runaan soon realizes that Ethari's metalwork isn't the only thing worth admiring.

Summary
Considering for a moment, he then settles on, "I want to know." Lightly placing his own hand over Death's, Zagreus asserts to them both, "I'm not afraid."
"Reckless as ever," Thanatos points out first, but then quickly amends, "but I appreciate the reassurance."
-----
Zagreus has some questions, Thanatos might have some answers, and both of them learn a lot more than they originally intended.
