Summary
Sasuke never understood what was so special about soulmates. He vaguely remembers his mother telling him about it. "The strongest love always comes from your soulmate," she had said, "they will love you more than life itself." Sasuke didn't believe it. How could he love someone so strongly? How could someone love him so strongly?
That is until he is brought back to Konoha and his soulmark is finally revealed. Now he must deal with his feelings that he has kept hidden away for so long emerging as the weight of his past and future comes crashing down on him.
Or,
Sasuke is kidnapped by Naruto's gang, and he figures out his soulmate is Itachi who he has spent nearly his entire life planning to kill. He deals with it.
This is my first work so beware. Feedback is wanted! Any hateful comments will be removed for my own sanity.
Itachi and Sasuke will be purely platonic soulmates, however all other soulmate duos will romantic.

“Uh-huh,” Mike says faintly, and he yelps when they narrowly avoid the edge of a shining skyscraper, and his hands clutch onto Spiderman instinctively. “Oh – my fucking God, that –”
Spiderman’s fingers press a little firmly into Mike’s shirt. "Just – hang on!"
"What do you mean just hang – was that a pun," Mike sputters, clutching onto Spiderman for dear life as they swing through the city, and he can hear the superhero laugh through the racing wind in his ears, the rumble of it under Mike’s arm wrapped around his middle.
In a city of superheroes, Mike keeps running into Spiderman, much to his dismay.

Will thinks this was what he’d been anticipating all night. Sure, he doesn’t feel an actual need to scent-mark, or to experience it… but he thinks he’d like to with Mike. And if Lucas’ smell was bothering Mike that much…
“Okay, fine. Let’s do it.” Will flicks up the sleeve of his shirt on his wrist and holds it up.
Mike’s expression wavers.
“Or, if you want to back out…” Will asks worriedly, letting his hand fall.
“No, I—I guess I just assumed. The neck’s the best place to do it, right?”
On the cusp of presentation, is Will really ready for the changes heading his way? Especially the uncertainty regarding his... friendship with Mike. Or was friendship even the right way to categorise them, anymore?

Summary
Sasuke doesn’t smell like anything, and he prefers it that way. Being a beta means he doesn't need to buy scent patches or spend money on suppressants. He can be in full control of himself 100% of the time. He doesn't need to endure any hormonal cycles. And, most importantly, he's automatically removed from the drama surrounding alphas and omegas.
It's easy. It's the best.
