Summary
To the people he brought in, whether warm or cold, Din Djarin Gang was a masked monster that had no heart. But now, he is just another man trying to survive on the desolate planet Tatooine as a hunter who sells pelts for a living, while juggling fatherhood in his other hand.
But peace doesn't last forever, and now, the Empire has stolen his son.
Din is merely a man who wants to get his son back and return to his life of solitude. But the higher powers disagree, and instead, he finds that his fate is intertwined with the rebellion and Luke Skywalker.

(Set in the Original Trilogy, if Din Djarin was born a little earlier, and his role if he joined the Rebellion.)

Summary
The Hierarchy of the Island was simple so long as you followed one simple rule: don't piss off the Royal Court.
The Giant, the Time Keeper, the Alchemist -- these were people born with a power beyond what any normal mortal could imagine, and more importantly, they had the skill to back it up. The King might indulge the rich and the lucky, but real Court could only be held by those blessed with the powers of the gods. Then the Jester came along, and the nobility had to reassess: Court could only be held by those blessed by the gods, and also by complete and utter fools.
___In which the Giant is confused, the Time Keeper is tired, the King is spiralling, and the Jester, quite literally, does not have a brain.
