After finding a hefty inheritance letter from your late grandpa, your bleak corporate life in the city comes to an end.

Summary
The story takes place one year after the new girl takes over her grandfather's farm. On a fateful call with her dad, she gets herself into trouble, telling him that she has a boyfriend, as to not worry him about the state of her social life. Alas, she does not have boyfriend.
As her father excitedly tells her he would love to come visit Pelican Town and meet her partner, the new farmer finds herself in a fake-dating situation with an obnoxious flirty emo next door. Things get complicated faster than either of them could've ever predicted.

Summary
Alex really needs therapy. A new farmer comes to town, befriends him with much struggle, and gives him soup. He is now cured. Yay!
(I'm reading really, really, really far in-depth into Alex, his grandparents and the town; Alex's self-image, self-worth and how he deals with trauma. Growth is good and friendship is important :) )
