He’s still so confused, the feeling never seemed to go away after that.
If anything, it grew and changed right along with him, like a stubborn birthmark or mole that you wish would go away.
It changes, but it’s still the same. It’s still there, a part of you.
And you can only hide it so much before doing so just draws more attention to it anyway.
