The iron band hidden under his glove on his ring finger felt cold.
"Are you sure?" He muttered. Trying to hold up his composure as tears welled up in his eyes. He took a step back from the light. Hiding his glossy eyes.
"Yes, your highness. A search had been done. Sir Knight Shinonome's body was part of the lot that was not found when we went to uncover the damage. I understand that he was close to you as your personal knight. I'm sorry to report about your loss."

He never felt he had freedom, living everday with a pre-determined routine to follow. And the only moments he could allow himself to have some peace was when nobody was watching, alone.
