There were flashes of her earlier nightmare, and she felt the urge to cry, but her reluctance in appearing weak in Malfoy’s presence was enough for her to swallow down the lump in her throat.
“I would care,” the idiot didn’t deserve her compassion, but she told him the truth all the same. “Too many people died in the war. There’s been enough bloodshed as it was, don’t you think?”
