There's a woman on the staircase Yuno hasn't ever seen before, which is unusual but should ultimately be fine. It would be fine if not for the fact that there's something about this woman that feels like she's just been punched in this face by the lack of... of something that she doesn't understand. That she didn't even know she was lacking. She stares on in abject horror, and before she even feels it building up, she's screaming her lungs out.

Amane's so tired, more tired than she's ever been, and she finally trips over her own feet with a sob. Blood splatters across her face, drips down her arms as she tries to push herself back to her feet. Tries and fails. Instead of shakily returning to her feet, she falls face-first yet again. She must look absolutely obscene right now: sweat dirtying her skin, her entire body stained with blood, and crawling through a pool of said blood.
The her in the mirror presses itself against its side of the glass desperately, like it's trying to reach out to her.
