Summary
A selection of individual chapters written from the POVs of other characters featured within "The Cadence of Part-time Poets".
I have not planned a set number of chapters or characters for which I will be writing, this is purely for fun. Some chapters may be quite long in length, others just a scene or two. This sub-fic is tagged very sparingly so any/all trigger warnings will come at the beginning of each chapter, please be mindful of those.
I'm open to suggestions of different scenes or POVs in the comments. Peace!

Summary
Hadrian Potter rarely went looking for trouble, but it always seemed to find him.
After discovering the world of magic, facing down a mountain troll, and surviving an encounter with the Dark Lord – resulting in the death of his defense professor at Hadrian’s own hands – Hadrian Potter faces the seemingly insurmountable task of returning to normal life. He must continue to live as if all were well, even after Voldemort sends him a letter offering the chance to find out what the actual goals of Voldemort are and why the Dark Lord waged war on magical Britain decades ago.
Can Hadrian put aside his resentment for the man who killed his parents long enough to learn the truth? What should he do when his friends start to notice that he starts acting strangely, asking questions that no one has the answers to? He's the heir to three Ancient and Noble Houses; he has more to do than just play games. Hadrian has an opportunity to find out why Voldemort targeted him and his family, but is he brave enough, clever enough, to find out without changing the fate of the world as he knows it?
What would change if Harry Potter were a Slytherin and hated Dumbledore more than he hated the Dark Lord?

Summary
What if Peter Pettigrew had been caught?
What if Sirius Black never went to Azkaban? In a single split-second decision, the course of the wizarding world changes. Instead of prison, Sirius Black finds himself raising Harry James Potter—alongside Remus Lupin and, through reluctant necessity (and fate), Severus Snape.
Three men. One child. And a life shaped not by prophecy, but by choice.
Raised with as many last names as parents, Harry grows up loved—fiercely, if not always gently. Trained in magic, politics, memory, and legacy, he learns that to love is not to shield, but to prepare. He isn’t hidden from the dark—he’s taught how to walk through it.
Part I: A childhood of broken men, healing bonds, and quiet resilience. (Chapters 1–28 | 221k words)
Part II: Slytherin Harry at Hogwarts. Ambitious, kind, loyal to a fault, and destined to surprise them all. (Ongoing)Not the Boy Who Lived they expected. And perhaps something more powerful: a boy who was loved.

Summary
After the fall of the Order, Hermione Granger is no longer a symbol of light—she’s a hunter, hollowed and vicious, set on killing Voldemort with or without her soul intact. Draco Malfoy, Voldemort’s most feared lieutenant, hides a secret rebellion: he’s planning the Dark Lord’s murder. But when he saves Hermione in a moment of weakness, they’re both pulled into the House of Penumbra—an ancient, sentient place that traps them together.
The House doesn’t speak. It watches. It remembers. And it won’t release them until something deeper than vengeance begins to bloom.
Surrounded by living murals, shifting shadows, and their own buried grief, Hermione and Draco must do the one thing they were never taught: feel. Heal. And care about someone other than the dead.
In a world where survival meant becoming monsters, maybe the only true rebellion left is learning how to love again.
Because the House was built for a single purpose: to choose who is worthy of saving the world—and to make them bleed for it.
A gothic, psychological, slow-burn Dramione.
Dark magic. Enemies to reluctant allies. Emotional devastation.
Healing as resistance. And a house that won’t let go.Bookmarked by Adrian_kid

Summary
Harry has spent the first six years of his life surviving rather than living. But when a concerned teacher, and an old friend of his parents, starts asking the right questions, long-buried secrets and injustices begin to unravel, making room for the truth to surface.
But for the one who orchestrated it all, his plan is slowly falling apart, and no matter what he does, he can’t put things back the way they were. Every attempt to fix the mess fails. And this time, there’s no undoing it.
