Summary
Zeff lowered himself into a squat a few feet away from the still shaking child.
“Hello, Sanji,” he said, matching the worker’s gentle tone, watching as the boy flinched slightly at the new voice. “I know this is probably a lot to take in, but before anything else, I want you to know that you’re safe here. I will protect you while you’re under my roof.”

Summary
The virus leak happened a few years before 1998. Despite widespread outbreaks and mounting infection cases, Raccoon City never fell. Instead, it adapted.
The RPD was absorbed by a larger organization — the BSAA — and now operates under the command of Captain Redfield, a seasoned officer with too much experience and not enough patience.Leon S. Kennedy, a rookie cop and one of the city’s survivors, already proved himself during the early waves of infection, helping contain and “clean up” what the virus left behind. A genuinely good guy in a place that stopped rewarding that a long time ago.
Now, under BSAA authority, he’s required to undergo formal training. With his new older mentor.
