Summary
Neil's been on his feet for the last thirty-six hours. His leg is aching, his interns are all idiots, his charge nurse thinks he should've gone home hours ago, but Neil can't bring himself to leave the knowing chaos of the ER.
He tells himself he'll see one more patient. One more, then he'll clock out.
Except, Neil's last patient of the day turns out to be a professional exy player, who's just punched another doctor, might be hiding some knives, and seems determined to notice everything Neil is trying to hide.
And, well - maybe Neil doesn't want to hide from one Andrew Minyard.

Neil is an emergency physician and Andrew is a pro exy player who keeps finding himself in Neil's ER. Oblivious flirting ensues.

“For sure.”
If he was going to sound like an asshole, he’d rather it was because he knew of a better way to take down this guy’s theory than by using words like 'in essence'. “Can you finish the equation on the board?”
“Yes, I can, the only thing is there’s some exy news –”
“I hate phones,” Neil said. “Don't any of you give a shit about privacy –” He stopped mid-sentence and looked over at Lawrence. “What exy news?”

Find a fifth roommate by the end of the first semester, allow residence life to provide a randomly assigned roommate, or cough up an $1,000 fine AND get the randomly assigned roommate anyway.
Now, with only a few days left in the semester and a laundry list of people too afraid to room with a monster, Andrew is out of options.
Nicky thinks the solution is to throw a party to show everyone how fun Andrew can be - when he's not stabbing people, that is.
