Just another sweet retelling of the Hades and Persephone story, in which Persephone is a young goddess trying to find her place in the world, and Hades is the lonely Lord of the Underworld, dedicated to his duties and his doggo, gradually giving more and more of himself to his duties and slowly wasting away... When Demeter is ordered by Zeus to bring her daughter, Kore, to Olympus for the festivities of Hephaestus and Aphrodite's wedding, the Corn-Mother is naturally anxious. Persephone steals a few moments to herself and wanders the vast palace complex, where she stumbles upon Hades who had also been seeking solitude amid the revelry. The two spark up a conversation, and neither is quite the same afterwards...
