Wei Ying bajó las escaleras, sintiéndose un poco inquieto por las sirenas de los autos de policía que rodeaban el avión. Algo tenía que estar realmente mal para que recibieran tal bienvenida. Las sombrías expresiones en los rostros de las personas uniformadas frente a él no eran nada tranquilizadoras.
"Uh, hay algunas personas aquí que necesitan ayuda. ¿Qué ocurre?" pregunto Wei Ying en voz alta. Al escucharlo, un hombre vestido con ropa formal dio un paso adelante, aclarándose la garganta.

Summary
Una caza nocturna que salió mal deja a Wei Wuxian enfrentando la vida sin esposo e hijo. Él se niega. Usando una matriz experimental, intenta la transmigración temporal, pero sale mal. Regresa a la edad de diez años, y la tensión en su joven cuerpo y mente requiere otro uso desesperado de energía resentida... que también sale mal. Un tipo diferente de fic de viaje en el tiempo.
